Perlman Fine Jewelry was established in 1960 in downtown Elgin, Illinois, by Milton Perlman. He was a graduate of the famous Elgin National Watch Company's Watchmakers College. He began the business by offering his customers a diverse selection of fine quality jewelry and diamonds, watches, china and silverware, as well as his own skills of watch repairing and hand engraving. As the business grew, he relocated and opened one of the largest fine jewelry stores in Illinois which received great acclaim.
Milton was later joined in business by his two sons, David and Corey. Together, they expanded the jewelry business over the years opening bigger and better locations throughout the Fox Valley area including St. Charles Mall, Spring Hill Mall, and Geneva Commons. With a focused commitment to represent world-renowned luxury brands and award winning jewelry designers in their stores, Perlman's has earned its reputation for over fifty years as being the area's best and most complete family-owned fine jeweler.
